Windows Binaries
================

Download and execute the file "linuxsampler_2_2_0_setup.exe" which will
install the latest releases of all software components of the LinuxSampler
Project on Windows operating systems, that is:

	* linuxsampler 2.2.0
	* jsampler 0.9
	* qsampler 0.4.3
	* gigedit 1.2.0
	* libgig 4.3.0
	* jlscp 0.8
	* liblscp 0.5.8

The installer allows you to choose which components to install. By default
all components will be installed. If gigedit is selected to be installed,
the installer will check whether you already have the gtkmm runtime library
installed and if not, it will try to download gtkmm from the internet and
install it on your machine. If JSampler is selected to be installed, the
installer will check whether you already have the Java Runtime Environment
(JRE) 8 installed and if not, it will try to download JRE 8 from the
internet and install it on your machine.

Daily Snapshots
===============

We are putting out official releases only once in a while. A release cycle
taking one or more years is more a rule rather than an exception. So since
we are so lazy on putting out official releases, and since the latest
development versions can often be considered quite stable, we recommend you
to check out the latest development snapshot build which are automatically
build on a daily basis, and which you can find in the subdirectory
"snapshots" here.
