Here you can find LinuxSampler bootsplash themes to let your box boot in LS style and optics. There's majorly just the LS symbol on the bootup progress screen, no annoying text or even links. I would hate that as well! ;-) The "silent" / console screen even doesn't annoy you with the symbol. In case you wonder why there are two different splash packages: there are currently two different projects for showing a boot splash on a Linux box. The first one was called "bootsplash" and the more recent one "fbsplash". In case you are unsure: I recommend you to install fbsplash, because it doesn't have the many shortcomings bootsplash currently has. Especially you don't have to fiddle with huge kernel patches and try to adjust them to your kernel version whenever you make an update of your kernel, because fbsplash is majorly in the user space. Let me know if you encounter problems or something! Anyway, I hope you like it! -- Christian Schoenebeck
